Definition of ‘T&C’
T&C is an abbreviation for Terms and Conditions.
A term is a clause in a contract which gives rise to a contractual obligation. If a term is breached the innocent party may be able to take legal action and claim damages.
A condition is also a term, but it is a major term which goes to the root of the contract. If a condition is breached the innocent party is entitled to end the contract and claim damages.
